MAC Cosmetics comes can be seen on the runways at 34 fashion week shows throughout the world, and they work with talented artists and industry leaders to produce innovative beauty styles. So, it was only natural for MAC to team up with three well known makeup masters to create individual color collections– Diane Kendal, James Kaliardos, and Kabuki. With the MAC Make-up Art Cosmetics Collection, you can see each artist’s unique style shine through with each product and hue. “M∙A∙C gave me complete freedom with this collection and turned my wish list into reality. Whether you’re a make-up artist or if you just like getting dolled up, I think you will love the colors, textures and long-lasting wearability of these products” Said Kabuki. We love that each artist collection is so distinct, yet they complement each other.
Kabuki Magic features a range of Retro Matte Liquid lip color, Crystal Glaze glosses, a golden sparkly peach Powder blush duo, two eye shadow quads, one with a set of pearl finish eyeshadows and the other featuring all matte shades. The pearly finish quad features shades like Humoresque a light burgundy pearl with teal reflects and from the matte quad Love On The Run a light purplish-grey. The Kabuki Magic collection is completed with a set of Pigment Paints, two precision brushes, lashes and a Coffee brown muted eye pencil.
James Kaliardos collection is uniquely different from that of Kabuki’s, featuring a set of four lipsticks with vastly different finishes and hues such as Coral Bliss a frosted light coral a cremesheen finish, and Jasper a satin deep reddish-brown. Aside from a range of eye shadows, glosses, pressed pigments and brushes, James’s collection also features two full face kits, Moons of Saturn Full Face Kit and Moons of Jupiter full face kits. Both face kits features cream color bases and sculpting powders. “I’ve been using M∙A∙C since I started working as a makeup artist and I am thrilled to work with them on this collection. I drew inspiration from their archive of colors that I’ve loved and used over the years. I want every woman using my products to feel beautiful and confident by being able to perfect her look in an easy to use way” said James.
Diane Kendal’s collection features a beautiful array of Lip and Cheek colors in the Enhance Me palette, the Glamourize Me, a set of cream color shadows with shades like Alluring a royal purple with pearl, and Daring a pearly navy blue shade.
