In celebration of the 2019 Make Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards and the professional makeup artist industry of Los Angeles, pro-favorite brand Skindinavia, once again kicked off a weekend of celebration with their Skindinavia Celebrates Pro LA! event on the eve of the MUAHS. The brand has been a strong supporter of the professional makeup artist industry since founder Allen Goldman launched the brand in 2005. From every area of the industry, the brand’s iconic The Makeup Finishing Spray keeps clients looks in place for up to 16 hours in the most diverse of conditions. Attendees of this year’s event were also treated to a pro-only pre-production sample of Skindinavia’s newest product launch – The Makeup Remover Spray, which will launch later this year.

SEEN: Skindinavia Celebrates Pro LA and the MUAHS Guild Awards!

Celebrating the professional makeup artist industry is nothing new for pro-favorite cosmetics brand Skindinavia. The brand has been involved with supporting this community since founder Allen Goldman brought the brand to life in 2005. Since then, Skindinavia’s The Makeup Finishing Spray has become the go-to way to seal-the-deal on the most important makeup applications across every genre of makeup artistry. SEEN: SKINDINAVIA CELEBRATES PRO LA!

This month in Los Angeles pro makeup artist, cult-favorite brand, Skindinavia invited top artists and industry leaders to come together to Celebrate Pro LA, and On Makeup Magazine was there to capture all the revelry for our readers.

In the midst of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood awards season, and on the eve of the IATSE Local 706, 2017 Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS), the Los Angeles professional makeup artist community came out in full force to celebrate their own, and the nominees of the MUAHS Awards, along with event hosts Allen Goldman, founder of Skindinavia and Deb Milley the brand’s Director of Brand Development.

“We feel it is so important for us to give back to the professional makeup artist community,” said Goldman, “The pro’s were the first ones to support us way back when and during times when we were struggling to stay on our feet. Knowing they supported our sprays has always been and continues to be a real motivation. We are so incredibly proud to support this community.”

SEEN: THE ARTIST SUMMIT

Since 2003, we at The Powder Group have been creating programs and events that brought the pro makeup and beauty community together in new ways, elevated the artistry and business of the artists and stylists in our industry, and connected brands and pros in ways that were unique to our culture and energy. In 2008, we continued that journey and launched The Artist Summit event series. The program was an education forum and that provided a blend of business, artistry and community like few events in our history. In the next two years we brought the event to New York City, Miami and Chicago and thousands of pros came to join us on this new journey.
